to visit Bolivia back in March, to see my students who were there on a service semester abroad project for Amizade. I loved every minute of Bolivia, but it really is another world. This photo is from a private preserve called Las cascadas, along the road from Santa Cruz to Samaipata. From the highest points in the area, you can see the difference in geography and vegetation as you look from the Andean cordillera over to the Amazonian lowlands.
