13. Ah, gotcha...

...I remember you mentioned your mom moving to Maryland before. I can see why she found it beautiful enough to move here -- although I must say, Colorado is beautiful too!

Anyway, now that I've been here during the record heat wave, not to mention the derecho and its aftermath -- I'm definitely not laughing! But it's true, it is not at all obvious to me there is a drought going on here, either. Las Vegas averages about 4" of rain per year. It took some getting used to when I first moved there!
