2. Food and a trap will do it

Ask at a local pet shelter about a trap. I had a feral coming to my porch and I left out a bowl of food and gradually moved the food into a trap (bought at a hardware store). After capture took it to a vet for worms, fleas and a nail clipping . Cat wasn't happy, but after a few days it settled down and gave me some of the best years of my life.
