A snap shot ... and what happened today [View all]

Our 3G network L to R Gonnzo, Grace and Goose

My spouse and I operated a kitten rescue while we lived in Aruba. We specialized in bottle babies, some just hours old.
We left Aruba 10 years ago and in the last 3 months we finally got back into the swing of things starting with 5 six week old ferals that we socialized and then found homes. When they were gone the house felt empty so we reached out to the vets and shelters offering our services.

Many of the shelters wanted so much (personal information) before they would allow us to foster it was discouraging.

But 2 weeks ago my spouse kept at it and the Naples humane society texted asking if we could handle 3 two week old youngsters.

They didn't make us jump through hoops and now I present them at the ripe old age of 4 weeks.

What happened today

I spent 2 hours riding in the wee hours of the morn and when I arrived home .... I lifted my camera pack out of the basket and my mid-range zoom 40-150 mm fell about 1 meter to the concrete floor. I feared for the worst but fortunately there was no damage. Not even cosmetic.

Peace out
