9. I grew up thinking everything were weeds until I started learning about them

Lady Bird Johnson actually started the Texas Wildflower Highway beatification program. We have the most loveliest Bluebonnets, Indian Paintbrushes, Mexican Blankets, Bee Balm, and many others.

I bought a Texas Wildflower book so I can identify the various flowers growing in my state. It's a passion.

And its about that time of year to travel outside of the Metroplex and take some photos.
