4. I'm enjoying the series...but something is missing..

Can't quite put my finger on it. I think a deeper development of the characters would be helpful. It tells the story in historical actions without evoking a lot of passion for any character. Also, more information, feeling for the culture and circa would connect the story in a way the viewer could identify more with the events. For having such star actors in the series I expected much more. I give it a 6 out of 10.
