I LOVE the female police officer - she's such a refreshing break from all the angsty males (tho, I did love Mmc's Rust on True Detective - which was strange, for me, b/c I was never a big MMc fan - in fact, I've never seen one of his romantic comedy movies - but his performance got me past my assumptions about him.)

Fargo creates an entirely different world - grounded in reality - well, sort of. Malvo is out there - but I could believe Platt's King guy existed.

The painting of the snow scraper in Platt's study commemorates finding the scraper Buscemi's character, in Fargo, used to mark where he had hidden money (in 1987/) So, this show is set in the 1990s, and Platt's guy made his money by finding the ransom money from Lundegaard's attempt to bribe his f-i-l.

I would love that.
