Has Anybody Else Checked Out The "Anno 1790" Series? [View all]

I came across it by complete accident this past Wednesday night on the WorldView network, while channel-surfing for something worthwhile. It's a Swedish TV show (English subtitles), set in 1790-era Stockholm, where a young, idealistic police commissioner solves various crimes. Well written and acted, with great detail as to costumes and art direction, not to mention references to the political viewpoints of the time. Highly recommended, particularly for those of you who are already into Swedish mysteries. Read the Wikipedia write-up for further details.....
