First Kingpin and now Punisher.

When I used to read comics when I was a kid back in the 60s and 70s, I read some Daredevil and some Spider-Man, but I gravitated more to the team titles -- Avengers, Defenders, X-Men -- just because, you know...more.

But as a grizzled fifty-something, I like these one-on-one stories better. Daredevil. Jessica Jones.

Also, I gotta say episodic TV* much better mirrors the comic book way of storytelling than theatrical movies. And I like that.

* The Netflix-style of episodic TV. Not the crap the networks try to feed us in-between commercials.
