8. The Green Hills ...

... will stay green longer! Yay! I live in the north bay and now that it is light when I'm going home (on my 2 hour commute), I get to see how beautiful the rain has made the area. So green it almost hurts my eyes!

I love the spring time, and the green green hills. And with the rain coming, even though it makes my commute that much more hellish, I welcome the rain.

We have had a good amount of rain, at least once a week over the winter. But we just had something like 10 days without any rain and we were worried that was the end of the seasonal rain. Even if it rained for 30 days straight, they are saying it wouldn't be enough for the drought to be called off, we need 3-4 years of this for that to be true.
