There are three main contenders on the D side for this seat. Janz is the front-loaded DCCC/CDP candidate. Nicely funded by Bay Area and corporate interests. According to his TV ads he's a PROSECUTOR and he's TOUGH ON CRIME!!!11!!11. That's about it. You know the DNC, they train them not to make a commitment to any actual issues and to stay as vague as possible. We do know he's against Single Payer.

Then there's Bobby Bliatout, Hmong-American, backed by the Hmong community, also pulling in ducats from the Bay Area. Also against Single Payer.

Lastly, there's the only progressive candidate running and that is Rico Franco. VERY specific about issues, FOR DACA, FOR Single Payer, we differ about the Temperance-Flat Dam (he's for it, I'm against it), but for the most part, really solid PROGRESSIVE credentials.

None of the above has ever run for office.

Nunes has millions in his war chest.

Anything else, as per the new "Thou Shalt Not Speak Negatively About Any Democrat No Matter How Odius" policy, I can say no more.
