3. The DNC strategy of going after a few conservative votes

as opposed to going after tens of thousands of progressive votes will have its historic and predicted outcome.

The concern for water is absolutely legitimate. People forget, this Valley supplies 25% of the nation's food supply so supporting agriculture is paramount and not just to us. Yes, there needs to be more sustainable farming that doesn't involve leeching the soil and putting harmful chemicals into the ground and air via fertilizers but that's fixable.

What you call "cheap labor" are jobs that are vital to those laborers. Fight for better conditions, better wages, retirement benefits, healthcare, etc., yes, but don't downplay the importance of that income to the farms, the Valley, this country, Mexico and most of all, to the laborers themselves. As bad as farm labor conditions can be in the U.S., farm laborers in Mexico are virtual slaves. Additionally, Trump and his Jack Boots at ICE have torn families apart, caused people to lose their livelihoods, and to go underground. Children are terrified that their parents are going to be deported.

As for Janz, he's been well groomed by the DNC to not address specifics. We get phrases like, "he'll fight for the Valley."
