If, say, this ends up in court, and in fact makes it all the way to The Supreme Court, there's a majority of pro-corporate justices who would be more than happy to twist, turn, and re-write the law to take away such state powers. Coudn't you see precedent used to override other state and regional issues as well?

Am I overly paranoid? Any lawyers out there?
