There are places where "expression" .. and more particularly, "promotion" .. is not part of the deal. And often vendors are asked to agree to such provisions as part of registration. I'm not saying I agree with the actions here (and neither did the city or farmers market ultimately) .. but I think it's conceivable that a vendor might have gotten the same pushback if they were handing out "Thin Blue Line", or "BLM", or "Defund the Catholic Church!", flags. No?
