IMO, it's for the benefit of others...like wearing a mask outside of the home and socially distancing...and not just for the protection of self and family.

i am glad to see the Cal Med Brd go after this. I totally agree with the article that certain children should be exempt for very valid medical reasons such as an impaired immune system while undergoing chemo, etc. But if your religions says differently, that's between you and your god and not between you and the school board.

All of us, even in isolated areas, come into contact with others. We need to have rules that apply to everyone AND these rules should be enforce evenly.
