and was shocked to read this:

Their costs are fixed. While there have been many scary stories lately about rate shock, 2014 rates in California are estimated (Milliman) to increase 30% over 2013 on average.

Blue increased my son's family $1900 to $2300 for this year and for next another 30%! This is Affordable? I thought there was supposed to be premium control included.

Personally, I am still hoping for coverage when the 2014 rules kick in, but that won't help my grandkids.
