1. As I read it, AB374 is over the top. A detachable magazine does not equal and assault rifle.

We already have limits on magazine capacity, that's quite enough.

To call a .22 caliber plinker with a 5 round magazine an assault rifle borders on madness.

If it passes I fear for the recalls and I don't think it's at all worth the political risk.

Things are going so well in California, we already have pretty strict gun laws.

I don't get it.
