23. I remember when there was jazz at Pier 39.

The FAMOUS Earthquake McGoons, with Turk Murphy as the house band and my friend Scott Anthony playing the breaks. Those were the days.

I also remember the famous restaurant Omar Khayams, down below street level. Eat delicious Armenian food while the cable cars rumble on the street outside.

Lots of happy memories there, but I haven't visited for twenty years or so.
