I live in Ohio.

I live in a very rural area.

I have an 1100 gallon cistern. (That is very small) A 2400 gallon would have been my choice.

It is my only water source.

I haven't bought a truck load of water in 4 years.

I also have a septic tank instead of city sewer lines.

That eliminates 2 monthly bills.

I don't think city water and sewage is always the right choice.

City water is available in my area, but city sewage is not.

If I were a millionaire I would not tap into the city water or city sewer if available.
