2. Front Range is so densely opaque with ozone and smoke--pretty eerie, though I've experienced it

plenty of times in the past. Never gets less depressing, though. I will say the fires do make for some incredibly intense sunrises (and occasionally sunsets as well).

While I should not be, the past two weeks, I've been shocked at how rarely anywhere west of the Mississippi River gets mentioned, weather-wise--especially given the storms and now major heat of the East Coast. Snowstorms get mentioned only from the standpoint of closing down connecting airports or if tornadoes hit Texas and Oklahoma. But reporting beyond that is comparatively underrepresented. Oh, well..

Stay safe, all (and yes, that absolutely DOES include everyone EAST of the Mississippi River as well).
