to clean it...your host might have problems with breathing the chemicals of mold killing cleansers.... You could say something like..."I'd love to repay you for your hospitality by helping with a household chore. If you have the cleaners, I would be happy to clean the 'bathroom' for you..."

But you'll have to do what your most comfortable doing...Me? I'd slip out to the store and pick up a bathroom cleanser that removes mold, and just do it. If you give the shower a good rinsing it won't hurt your host.
