I barely touched one of these caterpillars. It was very painful and I just made a paste out of meat tenderizer and kept applying it. It's what I've used for wasp stings in the past. It didn't heal quickly though. These are nasty caterpillars and I'm just glad I just barely touched it. Since then, even if I don't like wearing gloves, I do wear them now.

I was trimming hibiscus and they were on there, but are on lots of other plants. Just sharing.
