6. I'm in Clearwater and I don't think it's rained since October

when that hurricane blew over us. It's been dry dry dry dry. I've had to top off the pool once a month since February and we just put sod down so have to super water it until the roots get established. I think they're pretty established so have been able to cut down to just watering on the twice-weekly water allowance days and even with that I don't even want to see what the water bill is gonna be this month.

We're losing about 5-ish inches a month in pool water just from evaporation. It's been really windy the last week or so, too, which hasn't helped. We do what we can to keep the yard healthy -- all of our neighbor's lawns are dead and brown, and when the rains come (and they will come), that dead grass and sandy soil isn't going to hold any water at all and they're gonna have some major flooding.

Because I'm in unincorporated Clearwater, we don't have a source of reclaimed water. We're supposed to be slowly being incorporated over the next year or so and I really look forward to the reclaimed water to use on the yard.
