1. Wash state did this and imposed a 27% sales tax on all liquor!

...so dont do it if it means your current means of control saves you money. Our state run liquor stores were open all week so there was NO reason to even vote on this...but many UNINFORMED folks voted for it, it won and now we drive out of state to stock up on booze. Buyer Beware.
