3. My mother lived in FL for a year when she was 12

and she was taught that the South had won the Civil War. That says it all.

I became a teacher when I needed to switch careers since artists don't make enough to live on. I became a teacher so I would have to go back to college for two instead of 4 years and could use some of my college credits and they have a union. Guess what...teachers don't make much more than artists do. They get less respect and are treated like glorified babysitters who work 50+ hour weeks and are constantly getting sick...I told all my high school volunteers to NOT go into the profession (we all did but they never listen).
