I don't know the motives of these 2 guys who started the derby, but I know they don't tell the truth. They said part of the reason they are killing the wolves is because they carry a parasite that can infect humans, when in fact that is false. The parasite mainly affects sheep.

I would guess they don't have much conscience about killing animals, and any opportunity to do so, they will.
