Dear Senators Grassley and Ernst [View all]
At this writing, there are 50 dead and many more wounded in Orlando, FL. Why? Because of gutless "lawmakers" like you who pander to and kiss the asses of the motherfucking nra and their minions. And a young singer who simply wanted to make her fans happy by saying hi and signing autographs, dead as well.
This happened in Florida but it could easily happen here in Davenport, Cedar Rapids, Des Moines, Waterloo, or any other city in this state or the USA. See, people gather in clubs all the time to dance and party. And I personally have attended many many meet and greets with musicians and sports stars. And you assholes refuse to enact common sense gun laws. Thoughts and prayers ain't gonna do it. It is too damn late for any of that now anyway. It is time for you two ass kissing Senators to have some spine and stand up to the nra and demand common sense gun laws.
I would like to send an email like this to both of them, but with the swearing in there I'm sure that they would be deleted immediately. Even without the swearing, they would likely be deleted anyway. Thank you to DU for reading this and letting me vent. The worst mass shooting in US history. And our useless Senators will do nothing about it.
