Reconnected to the Detroit Water System BUT....the infrastructure is "burned toast" -- to use an analogy. The high levels of Chlorine corroded the pipes and especially the plumbing systems of personal and commercial properly in the area. Due to the delivery system itself being old (build prior to the 1950's) the pipes had a content of lead in it but was centralized to ensure the lead would not leak into the system AS LONG AS a breech of the infrastructure did not occur. However, the overabundance of Chlorine, did just that.
