1. That would be the old Grand Trunk Railroad tracks.

In the 70's I commuted to downtown Detroit from Royal Oak via the then Grand Trunk commuter line. It shuttled many north suburb commuters to work downtown every day. You arrived fresh and in a good mood, not having had to fight traffic and congestion on Detroit's (even then) aging roads.
