2. Sounds like manufactered controversy to get listeners

I do enjoy much about MPR News, though I am on a few month sabbatical from them (sticking to Classical 99.5 to clear my head). They are still some of the best hosts on the radio you can find when you travel around and compare other public radio (and non public radio) hosts. MPR News tries and often attempts to rise to the level of the BBC, CBC and ABC.au on the radio and they do much of the time.
