1. I never heard of a bear sighting in Saint Paul before

Bear sightings in the Twin Cities are extremely rare, generally bears are only seen in the northern part of the state. I do remember hearing about some bear sightings in Lebanon Hills Park in the Eagan/Apple Valley area a couple of years ago and I thought that was strange but at least that is a fairly undeveloped area, I have never heard of a bear sighting right in the middle of the city before.
