They indeed do run everywhere and have for many, many years. My Great Uncle worked as an aircraft mechanic at Lambert Field in the 1930s on the Shell Oil Company Plane that was fitted with a camera to take photos of their pipelines. I have a photo of him on the tarmac by the Old Terminal Building that was on Lindbergh Blvd.
