He certainly spoke well, and to an enthusiastic crowd. I was impressed at how many showed up, had to look for a parking place, since this has always been a Republican area. I got a couple of signs and spoke to the guy who was asking everyone to sign in, asked him if there was a local office yet, but there's not, HQ is located (same as with incumbent Bill Owens - who was there) in Plattsburgh. This redistricting has been damn confusing. The sign in list asked if people were willing to do phone banking or canvassing and I said yes to both, told the campaign guy I'd worked on Scott Murphy's campaign and he gave me one of his cards. Just hope the enthusiasm carries on to November... *fingers crossed*
