BY JOE STEPANSKY , RIKKI REYNA , ALFRED NG NEW YORK DAILY NEWS

A 25-year-old cop was seriously injured Sunday in Brooklyn when he was struck by a children’s bike thrown from a fifth-floor window, police said.

Police were responding to a call of shots fired in Crown Heights around 2 a.m. when debris began raining down on them from an apartment building, cops said.

One officer was left with a deep gash in his head when he was struck by the pink Barbie bicycle tossed from 959 St. Marks Ave.

The cop was rushed to Kings County Hospital, where doctors closed the wound with staples, cops said. Three other cops went to the hospital with minor injuries from the bike.
