Hey, it's NYC, and there's a fair amount of time until the primaries, perhaps Weiner could pull this off, no pun intended. We saw that a month ago his ratings were above Quinn's, and the memory of his resignation from Congress was still pretty fresh in people's minds.

If there's a "they all do it" kind of mentality among the voters, then he might win this thing. Let's face it, having him as NYC mayor would embarass Hillary, and she might decide not to run in 2016. For some folks, that would be a positive.
