Queens Borough President candidate Peter Vallone Jr. gets endorsed by PBA [View all]

He collared the cop vote.

Queens Borough President candidate Peter Vallone Jr. was endorsed by the city Patrolmen's Benevolent Association — capping a “clean sweep” of the various law enforcement unions.

“It’s a huge boost to our campaign with just three weeks before the election,” said Vallone, who chairs the Public Safety committee on the Council.

Vallone was previously endorsed by unions representing detectives, captains, lieutenants and Corrections officers.

PBA President Patrick Lynch, who lives in Bayside, said that Vallone’s experience on crime issues made him the choice for his members, totaling more than 22,000 active officers.
