Have a friend who got caught in the storm in Rockville MD. Said he got soaked all the way through to his skin (through raincoat, suit, etc., even water inside his rain boots). He said it was unreal.

Here in DE I was home for lunch when the first line came through. It sounded (and looked) like an army of angry squirrels were pelting our roof with acorns and twigs.
