I remember reaching one, two and three thousand, back in the day, thought it was one huge deal. Do you remember newyawker99? She used to post threads on DUer Milestones. And she was also my first friend on DU, welcomed me on my very first post here. And I remember waiting over a week to post #10,000, wanted to make it special.
