And I realize that I was very fortunate since that would never be possible again - and I can't help wondering what my fellow travelers would think of what's happening now. 
And you and my Nana have a lot in common - she's the reason that I can recognize birds, and shells on the beach, she taught me so much. I just wish that I was as resilient as she was. And thanks so much for sharing your story with me - that's what inspired me to explain about my Nana and Black Mountain, but I guess I got carried away, remembering...
