I link to that document in my first post at the other site. You need to at least read the executive summary and site history in the document you link, but you need the other discussion, too.

Part of what I have been discussing over there is the almost total lack of public or institutional awareness and discussion of even this sites existance in the MSM.

I would also like to point out that the status of ground water migration being under control is misleading because the hydrology follow up tests had not been done; status of insufficient data would be more appropriate.

Obvious, the location of Superfund sites is not a secret. But the ability of NCSU to control the message and downplay the risks for 20 years before any actions on groundwater were even begun is surprising and disturbing.

Also, notice the responses over there that frames this as a liberal over-response.
