6. Recommend...When I moved here I checked out the "Superfund Sites."

Apparently the National and State funds that were supposed to be set aside to clean them up ..ended up somewhere else. I have one down the road about a mile from me that is a Superfund site that is a lake and who knows how many dead animals, birds, etc. have been there for years. But, it's now a thriving dump site for construction tear downs, tree mulching debris from folks clearing out their yards and construction sites and there are mounds of Gravel and all kinds of cement building there.

I think the decision was: "We can't clean it up...so lets use it as an industrial DUMP SITE." Probably mounds of asbestos there, also since the "Tear Down" industry which thrived during the Booming 2000's only took a brief hiatus during the "Global Meltdown" and now I see the site is thriving once again with all the Rental Construction funded by the Hedge Funds going on.

So...it goes on...no matter how hard it is on the rest of us since the recent "Meltdown" there are folks still making money off of Superfund Sites and who knows where the "clean up money" went. Probably into the State Legilator's Pockets or elsewhere.

Anyway...it's there and thriving. What has CHANGED?...not much of anything.
