where "No to Amendment One" sentiment was STRONG. It was a good day to be in deep blue Raleigh, but for the 6-person anti-choice rally, where I was told by a young unmarried couple that they abstain because they "are not sex-driven animals," and by a 20-something male that he opposes birth control, even for medical reasons. Oh, and when I mentioned desperate women and coat hangers, the young woman laughed. I wanted to deck her, but decided to drink NC devil brew instead, and toast my carnal ways. Bottoms up!
