1. The RW thinks that only CEO's deserve merit pay

We are always told "Gotta pay the best to get the best". Somehow, only the top management 'benefits' from high wages to 'attract the best'. All other jobs 'benefit' from cutting wages, somehow the best will tolerate this and not go elsewhere, so long as they aren't CEO's. Somebody should ask the repukes why this is so. Not that I expect a coherent answer.
