7. I was merely pointing out that there are ways to remove rights from couples.

Part of that is that couples who are not married can be denied joint insurance coverage, their children can be denied support payments and legal parentage....trust me, there are ways that this can be done.

The law, as it is written bans all but same-sex marriage, and there are interesting ways that this can be applied. Don't tell me it can't happen. It can.

It's a dangerous precedent.
