and for us common core has meant that we are teaching largely the same topics but doing so in a different order and including different ways of teaching those topics. More exploration. less direct instruction. Honestly we haven't gotten all that great of instruction on this. We are not being required to take tests to prove we can teach but the evaluation system has gotten very cumbersome.
