4. Jo Co County is pretty red if you go just by voting results

Jackson County is quite a bit more liberal (of course it is also a lot bigger city). In 2008, Barack Obama actually won Jackson County. In 2012, it went the other way. I think like lots of places high voter turnout helped him in places that have been traditionally red.
