Roadkill bill cruises through Oregon Senate

1. Nothing wrong with still warm roadkill

except that it tends to deprive scavengers of their dinner.

I'd be very suspicious of anyone harvesting roadkill with front end damage to their vehicles. Yeah, you know some "hunters" out there will try it.

But overall, it's a good bill, especially in parts of the country where a little protein in the freezer is about all you get except beans, eggs, and the occasional tough old hen who's stopped laying them.
