9. Well, to update things we got our OHP cards today, 3 months after applying

Which is good, I suppose. I was actually looking forward to getting a packet showing my options for private subsidized insurance, but instead we got OHP cards, so we're covered that way. My one reason for not wanting OHP was prior bad experiences and that they limited eligibility if you had assets (we own a house and a derelict commercial property). But I assume they've changed the rules, as there were no questions or anything about that in the application, and we weren't given an option...so far so good, then.

Next step: find a doctor to give physicals and vaccinations and so forth.
