2. Great story of early 90's coffeehouses in Portland

I was on a first date. We were both shy and teenagers. Went to some coffeehouse in SE, don't remember the name but something litary. We were both early 90's kind of style (Ihad long hair, wore lots of flannel, she had short hair, wore jeans). We both ordered coffee, I think a slice of pie, and just sat there and chatted. I didn't drink my coffee because I can't stand it. At the end of the night, the waitress/barista told us she would cover our bill since we just seemed like a nice couple. Nothing ever happened with the relationship, but still my best first date ever.
