PA Gov Corbett in Trouble? [View all]

The Dems won all of the state offices up for election last night, which by itself spells trouble for the governor. One curious finding I noticed while trolling through the county totals this morning: Centre County, home to Penn State, had relatively even votes for President, State Auditor, and State Treasurer but Kathleen Kane the Dem for Attorney General won by over 15%.

I read this as an indication that Happy Valley is not too happy about how the Sandusky investigation was handled by then Attorney General Corbett. My personal opinion as that the Republican establishment was not overly enthusiastic about investigating Paterno who has contributed his fund raising services to several Republican candidates in the past. Any favoritism or perceived favoritism by Corbett and other Republicans during the Sandusky investigation is going to be a topic of conversation before the next gubernatorial election. Lack of support in central PA and southern PA (which have large Penn State followings) due to any revalations uncovered by Kane will make Corbett's reelection very difficult in my opinion.
